The high should become centred close to southeast Queensland on Sunday with winds easing over far southern waters as a result. Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton Winds : South to southwesterly 15 to 20 knots tending south to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots during the day. The ridge will relax today as the high moves further east and weakens. A trough will move east over southern Queensland waters during Monday afternoon. A new high will then move east into southeastern Australia during Monday evening and Tuesday, extending a strong ridge into Queensland in the wake of the trough. Sunshine Coast Waters Forecast: Double Island Point to Cape Moreton Winds : East to southeasterly about 10 knots becoming north to northeasterly in the middle of the day. Seas : Below 1 metre. Winds should weaken on Wednesday as a new weak high centre moves over southern Queensland waters.
